EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
WCGL has contracted with Bensinger, DuPont & Associates to provide a low cost Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for our members. The Employee Assistance Program is available to all member municipalities at a nominal cost. Employees and their immediate family can receive counseling to deal with a variety of personal issues. The EAP is a confidential program conducted by experienced professionals with advanced degrees in psychology, social work, rehabilitation counseling, psychiatry, medicine, nursing and law. All are licensed or certified in their fields of expertise. 24-hour assistance is available to participants, unlimited telephone counseling, assessment, referrals and crisis intervention services to help resolve personal issues which may impact the workplace. VEHICLE AUCTION PROGRAM
The WCGL and Manheim’s Arena Auto Auction in Bolingbrook has an agreement to allow municipal members to auction their surplus vehicles and public works equipment. This program will assist members in clearing their facility of unneeded vehicles and equipment on a regular weekly or monthly basis. For more information members can contact the WCGL at 815-729-3535.
ILLINOIS METROPOLITAN INVESTMENT FUND
The Illinois Metropolitan Investment Fund (IMET) was developed to assist Illinois municipalities with investment of their intermediate-term dollars. IMET offers two separate investment vehicles to meet the investment needs of public entities. Currently, IMET is serving more than 174 municipalities and public entities.
